Rescue Rangers came to be because both Under the Angels Wing Rescue and Mustang-Spirit Rescue wanted to start a kids
program but neither rescue had all the pieces in place to pull off a kids camp alone, so both rescues teamed up together and
Rescue Rangers was born. All proceeds from our kids camps go to help support both rescues and all horses used at the
camps are rescued horses.
Our goal is to use these rescued horses to teach kids safe and responsible horsemanship
and to show others how well trained, gentle, and wonderful rescue horses truly can be. Some of the horses being
used are permanent residents of either rescue but some of the horses are available for adoption.
Courtney Hobson of Under The Angels Wing Rescue and TNT Training Center is our Head Trainer, making her responsible for all horse back riding instruction. In 1990 while showing
on the open show circuit in English and Western she saw the need for more of the kids to enjoy their riding rather then it
being work. There were just too many kids out there with trainers that cared about nothing more than winning.
Courtney started giving riding lesson with an emphasis on FUN for everyone! Courtney and her students all went on to
win many classes and bring their share of blue ribbons home and you know what they all had FUN doing it! Courtney has continued
her focus of training horses and giving riding lessons where everyone is having fun and enjoying what they are doing. Come
out and enjoy riding our wonderful rescue horses under the guidance of Courtney where we have a good time for all ages.
Tania Bennett of Mustang-Spirit is our Director and is responsible for the material studied during the learning station as well as appoving
the arts and crats items. Check back soon for Tania's Bio
